Paddy Cullen obituary: The gregarious and personable Dublin goalkeeper involved in two of the most pivotal All-Ireland football final moments

On the walls of the Ballsbridge pub that Paddy Cullen once owned and, to this day, still has his name over the door, there were eight photographs in sequence reliving one of the landmark moments of any All-Ireland football final.
Dublin had won back-to-back All-Ireland titles in the previous two years and were a point ahead coming up to half-time in the 1978 final when Cullen raced out from his goals to gather a ball driven in by Jack O’Shea that had dropped in behind the cover.
