A 21-year-old woman has died after being struck by a vehicle on Monday, Halifax Regional Police say.
Initial reports Monday said the woman had sustained life-threatening injuries and been transported to hospital. But police confirmed on Tuesday the woman had died.
The woman was hit by an automobile near Robie Street and Veterans Memorial Lane on Monday around 5:47 p.m., according to police.
Police said they’d also received reports that the vehicle was involved in an additional collision near Beech Street and Jubilee Road.
The driver has been arrested for dangerous driving. An investigation is underway.
