SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — There’s nothing like the smell and look of a pizza pie fresh out of the oven.
Yelp recently released a list of the 25 most photographed pizza spots in the United States, with two local restaurants making the top 10.
Placing No. 4 on the list is Buona Forchetta. The South Park location offers a variety of pizzas from a Bruna pizza consisting of mozzarella, sausage, pepperoni, spicy salame to the Jackson, made up of artichokes, arugula, grape tomatoes, onion and olives.
“Amazing Pizza !!! Very great place for first dates Date day/night!!” Yelper Frederick M. said.
“First timer, love the amazing homemade Italian food! We got Silvia pizza and fettuccine marinada. service was so fast, they around you in case you need anything,” Yelper Maria T. added.
CUCINA urbana in Bankers Hill, known for its Margherita and Fig and Pancetta pizzas, came in at No. 8.
“We loved the pizza and bolognese, and asked for extra chili flakes, so he brought over this spicy sauce figuring we’d enjoy it and it was SOO good! We also got a side of pickle aioli for the pizza and I highly recommend that… as sauce people, we were pleased,” Yelper Claire J. said.
Yelp compiled this list by identifying businesses in the pizza category and ranked those spots based on how frequently users submit photos. All businesses had to have a passing health score as of Jan. 9, 2025.
