The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says its homicide unit is investigating the death of a 25-year-old man Friday night in the city’s east end.
Officers were called to the 500 block of St. Laurent Boulevard around 9:25 p.m., where they found a man with serious injuries, according to a post on the OPS X account.
The man was taken to hospital, where he later died, police said. His identity has not been released.
No arrests have been made, but OPS said there is no risk to public safety.
