Firefighters tackle car blaze that left person needing medical treatment

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident on the A2032 Littlehampton Road today, December 17, at around 1.20am.

One person was treated for minor smoke inhalation.

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “Upon arrival firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly got to work to extinguish the fire, which was of accidental ignition, using hose reels and thermal imaging cameras.”
