Secretary Rubio’s Call with Costa Rican Foreign Minister André – United States Department of State

Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Costa Rican Foreign Minister Arnoldo André today to reaffirm the importance of the U.S.-Costa Rica relationship in forging a hemisphere that is safer, stronger, and more prosperous.  Secretary Rubio thanked Foreign Minister André for Costa Rica’s partnership with the United States to promote peace, protect hemispheric security from external threats, stop sophisticated transnational criminal enterprises from terrorizing our countries, and end the crisis of mass migration in our hemisphere by working toward durable solutions.
