Santa Rosa burger chain closes one of its locations

(KRON) – A beloved North Bay burger chain is closing one of its Santa Rosa locations.

On Tuesday, the City of Santa Rosa will only have one Superburger location.

“Thank you, Bennett Valley!” said the eatery on its website. “After 7 great years of serving the Bennett Valley community, we’ll be closing our doors on April 1st.”

Superburger was birthed in the 1950s in a shack near the corner of College and 4th streets of Santa Rosa, according to its website.

The chain mentions its high-quality hamburgers and milkshakes. “Our ingredients are stubbornly old fashioned because we still believe in using soft local bakery buns delivered daily and freshly ground choice beef that make the best hamburgers when served hot and eaten right away,” according to the restaurant.

Superburger had a variety of half pound black angus burgers. They even have a “fancy superburger” menu, which includes Lahaina Teriyaki Burger and black and blue BBQ bacon burger. Superburger also has chicken burgers and a variety of milkshakes.

The burger joint chain has three other locations: 4th Street in Santa Rosa, Cotati and Petaluma.
