
ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Schenectady man was arrested following a shoplifting and shots fired investigation by the Rotterdam Police Department on Saturday. Manief Mullins, 24, faces multiple charges.
Charges
- First-degree reckless endangerment
- Second-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- First-degree robbery
Police said they received reports of a man shoplifting and firing multiple rounds from a handgun after running from security at the Walmart on Altamont Avenue. Through investigation, police determined a suspect and Mullins was taken into custody without incident.
No injuries were reported during the incident. Mullins is awaiting an arraignment at Schenectady County Jail.
