The Polar Express Train Ride will depart from Wensleydale Railway between November 14 and December 23, 2025, bringing the classic festive tale to life with a round-trip journey to the “North Pole.”
The one-hour immersive experience, based on the beloved book and film, features a cast of performers.
Onboard, the conductor will make his way through the carriages and punch golden tickets, while dancing chefs serve hot chocolate and a cookie.
Santa will greet passengers and give each one a silver sleigh bell—the “first gift of Christmas.”
Passengers will be invited to read along with the original children’s book, The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg.
Golden tickets will be retainable as a souvenir.
Passengers are encouraged to wear pyjamas.
This year, proceeds from every carrier bag bought from the on-site shops will go toward WWF’s efforts to protect polar bears and their Arctic habitat.
Ticket prices range from £35.95 to £57.95, depending on the date and time selected.
