Futtle said they planned on having a quick turnaround and while there was initially no opening date given, it is now taking booking for this weekend to celebrate Easter.

It says it will have a seasonal menu that focuses on fresh fish and seafood while it will offer organic beers fresh from their brewery.
They posted to say: “We’re a little terrified… and VERY excited to announce that we are taking over the reins at the beloved St Monans seafood restaurant, The East Pier Smokehouse.
“Everything should feel very familiar to people who have visited before. A vibrant, seasonal menu, with a focus on fresh fish and seafood, coming from the restaurant’s smokehouse and grill.
“On the bar, there’ll be cold, organic beers fresh from the brewery. And a changing list of really beautiful natural wines and ciders from our favourite producers.
“Our intention is to open year-round for food and drinks, Wednesday to Sunday, but please bear with us as we get up to speed.
“More information on an opening date and menus and team to follow. We’re aiming for a super quick turnaround, having just got the keys yesterday.
