The incident caused disruption on the line, with South Western Railway (SWR) estimating that disruption would last for around three hours — until 9am.
However, they later updated this to say that disruption was expected until 10am.
Speaking yesterday, a spokesperson for SWR said: “Following a trespasser on the railway at Millbrook Hants all lines have now reopened.”
The line was later reopened and services returned to running as normal.
