Police were called shortly after 8.30pm to a report of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Above Bar Street.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We were called at 8.34pm on Saturday, February 8, to a report of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Above Bar Street.
“Minor injuries were sustained.”

It comes after Southampton Travel – that provides travel updates for Southampton City Council – informed followers on X that emergency services were attending an incident in the road.
A spokesperson said: “Above Bar Street is closed at junction with New Road due to an ongoing incident.
“Emergency services are currently on scene. please use an alternative route where possible.”
