When is the final of The Traitors? BBC confirm date of 70-minute special

At the start of January, 25 contestants began battling it out to take home the ultimate prize – a whopping total of up to £120,000.

However, only a handful will make it to the final episode in a few weeks – will they be a mix of Traitors and Faithfuls?

For 2025, there are 12 episodes in total, with three airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer each week.

But now the BBC has confirmed the exact date of the final, so let’s find out when it is.

When is the final of The Traitors 2025?

The broadcaster has confirmed that the extended 70-minute final of The Traitors series three will air on Friday, January 24 from 8.30pm until 9.40pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

As a twist this year, host Claudia said that winning the money would “require even more smarts than ever” as finalists would no longer be able to reveal whether they are a Traitor or Faithful after being voted out.

Communication scientist Yin, was the first ‘murder’ victim of The Traitors series three as the game of “detection, backstabbing and trust” returned last week.

Claudia, 52, chose the Traitors during the first episode, opting for 70-year-old retired opera singer Linda, 29-year-old call centre manager Minah and 27-year-old financial investigator Armani.

After deliberating for the first time, the Traitors chose to murder 34-year-old Yin from Berkshire, who Armani said “was very intellectual” and could become “a threat later on”.

The Traitors series three airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm.
