Over the past three and a half months, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has taken a sledgehammer to the US civil service, axing tens of thousands of jobs.
He claims he has saved the government $160 billion while cutting waste and fraud.
But his alleged savings, which experts have questioned, are a far cry from the one or two trillion dollars he initially promised.
