The couple often offer a glimpse into their family life having swapped red carpets for their own working farm
Liz Fletcher has been flooded with messages as she declared ‘it’s started’ in an update from the family farm she shares with her husband Kelvin.
The couple often offer a glimpse into their family life having swapped red carpets for Wincle, in the hills above Congleton and Macclesfield, both on social media on in their own ITV show, Fletcher’s Family Farm.
Fans of the show have watched Kelvin, who once portrayed the character of farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, embrace his actual real-life farming duties.
It was then earlier this year that Kelvin and Liz teamed up with ITV’s Lorraine to offer regular updates from their farm with viewers of the Lorraine Kelly-hosted show and they gave an insight into the lambing process as they found out on the programme if their sheep are expecting.
Earlier this month as they appeared live from the farm as the pre-Spring sun shone, Kelvin said: “It’s about to get very busy for us. So we’re trying to make the most of these blue skies. We’ve certainly got a spring in our step because the next few weeks we’ll be ready for lambing.”
Liz also said: “Really exciting, we’ve got the lambs that will be due about mid April. The kids will be off ready to help us and it’s a really busy time on the farm.”
Now, Liz and Kelvin have revealed the lambs have been arriving and shared a sweet photo of Kelvin helping his young children as they fed one of the new lambs.
“It’s started….” Liz wrote on her own Instagram page and the comments quickly came flooding in. Kelvin’s former Emmerdale co-star Lauren Norton commented: “Oh my!” Presenter Matt Baker’s wife Nicola replied: “Have a good one!”

The couple have also shared videos and updates to their ‘Fletcher’s Family Farm’ Instagram page and alongside a clip of the bottle-feeding in progress, they said: “THIS is why we did it [red heart emoji].”
There was also a video of Kelvin and Liz’s eldest child, Marnie, hard at work on the farm and the caption of the post read: “I work for her apparently… [crying laughing emoji]. Marnie is on feeding duties!.”
And fans were quick to show praise. @abilou8 said: “Brilliant! She will have her own show soon.” @bethanyjanesmith commented: “It’s Marnie’s world, we’re all just living in it. She is amazing!” @legwiles1979 wrote: “She is one amazing boss lady.” @juliedumps added: “She’s a natural with animals, your amazing Marnie.”
