(KRON) — The City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire said a juvenile is expected to be okay after being struck by a driver while riding a motorized scooter.
The collision happened Thursday near the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and Seed Farm Drive.
Investigators said the juvenile was riding home from school when he was hit by the driver who had the right of way with a green light. Fortunately, the juvenile was wearing a helmet.
Rohnert Park Police & Fire are using the incident as a reminder to always a wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws.
