(KRON) — The Contra Costa County Fire Department (CCCFD) said a juvenile was found shot inside of an Antioch home on Tuesday evening.
CCCFD said it received calls at around 6 p.m. of a “gunshot wound” at a residence on Clearbrook Road. Upon arrival, crews located a juvenile victim.
Officials did not release the age or current condition of the child. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet clear.
Contra Costa County Fire said the Antioch Police Department is handling the investigation.
