Hollister has released its 2025 Pride collection in support of GLSEN (Hollister)
US clothing brand Hollister has released its 2025 Pride collection, despite president Trump’s anti-DEI executive orders and the administration’s opposition to LGBTQ+ Pride in general.
For example, staff at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have reportedly been told they cannot celebrate Pride on the bureau’s time and only attend LGBTQ+ events in a “personal capacity”.
The decision by the FBI – which celebrated Pride Month under previous POTUS Joe Biden as a means of bridging gaps with the LGBTQ+ community – comes after Trump signed an executive order in January culling diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies from the federal government and military.
During a Las Vegas rally in January, Trump boasted that he has defeated so-called “wokeness”, claiming the executive orders he had signed over the previous five days had gotten rid of “the woke cr*p” in government.
During his rally, Trump baselessly claimed that companies never wanted to impose the policies in the first place and were instead pressured to do so. “I don’t think they believed it,” he claimed.
Many American companies have, as a result, ended their previous support for Pride month, but not Hollister.
Hollister are once again partnering with LGBTQ+ charity GLSEN, which works to ensure that queer students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment.
Hollister has been a GLSEN partner on collaborations and educational programming since 2017 and has raised over $5.6 million with Hollister’s customers to support the organisation’s work..
Hollister will be donating $400,000 to GLSEN this June, regardless of the amount of Pride-themed merchandise sold. The gender-neutral 13-piece collection includes a cropped football shirt in rainbow colours, pictured above, as well as baseball caps, off the shoulder cami tops, and Powerpuff Girls-themed merch.
The collection retails for $16.95-$49.95 and is available in Hollister stores and online.
Other clothing brands who have released 2025 Pride collections include Levi’s, Converse, Puma, Diesel and Abercromnbie & Fitch.
