
Northern New Brunswick will see northwesterly wind gusts up to 90 km/h Sunday afternoon and evening.
Wind is expected in the Acadian Peninsula and Bathurst and Chaleur Region

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the northeast corner of the province.
The Acadian Peninsula and Bathurst and Chaleur region are expected to get maximum wind gusts northwesterly up to 90 km/h. The winds will begin this afternoon and diminish this evening.
The warning said “strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring” and that utility outages may occur.
N.B. Power posted on Friday it will monitor the weather system and is “fully prepared to respond safely and efficiently if outages occur.”
High wind will also impact all of P.E.I and northern parts of Nova Scotia.
