Amy McGibbon gave birth to baby Archie McGibbon just three minutes after midnight on New Year’s Day at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital.
Weighing in at 9lbs 2oz, Amy and her partner, Nathan Parry, could not be happier with their wee bundle of joy.

“Amy is doing amazingly well and the support we have received from the hospital staff has been incredible.
“The birth went completely fine, thankfully.”

The couple have even created an adventure jar to mark Archie’s first experiences in the world – like going for his first swim, for example.
Nathan added that the pair hope to take Archie home tomorrow.
