DENVER (KDVR) — Winds will back off overnight Tuesday after a very windy afternoon. The Denver weather forecast will be sunnier and not quite as breezy for Wednesday.
The Pinpoint Weather team is also tracking more chances for rain and snow in Colorado for Thursday and Friday.
Weather tonight: Not as windy

Winds will diminish overnight Tuesday, and temperatures will fall to seasonal values in the upper teens and low 20s. Skies will be mostly clear, so no additional precipitation is expected.
Weather tomorrow: A seasonal March afternoon
Colorado will have sunnier skies on Wednesday.

Temperatures will be in the lower 50s, which is seasonal for early March. Winds won’t be as strong either but may still occasionally gust up to 20-25 miles per hour.
Looking ahead: Rain, snow chances Thursday, Friday
After a dry Wednesday, clouds return for Thursday. Most of the day is looking dry, with mountain snow showers expected to resume in the afternoon.
For metro Denver and the plains, moisture will hold off until late Thursday. Gusty winds upwards of 30 miles per hour will return on Thursday.

Friday also looks to start dry, but additional rain and snow showers will be possible in the afternoon. Snow amounts don’t look very impressive given how warm it will be, but Denver may be able to pick up around one inch. Higher totals are expected in the mountains, with 3-6 inches possible in several locations.
Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour when you go to bed Saturday night.
