Denver weather: Chilly Sunday but warming up next week

DENVER (KDVR) — Winds will slow overnight Saturday with the Denver weather forecast remaining quiet for the next several days.

Mountain snow showers will continue overnight, as well. However, the Pinpoint Weather team is tracking a warmup next week before another big change in the weather pattern next weekend.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with mountain snow showers

Most of the area will stay dry overnight Saturday with partly cloudy skies and lighter winds, but light mountain showers will continue through the night with additional minor accumulations.

Weather tomorrow: A chilly afternoon

Skies remain mostly sunny to partly sunny Sunday afternoon. However, temperatures will be a handful of degrees cooler with highs only in the middle 30s around metro Denver. Winds won’t be as strong either.

Looking ahead: Sunny skies and gradually warming… for now

Next week starts sunny but still very chilly with highs only in the lower and middle 30s on Monday.

Most of next week will be sunny and dry with temperatures gradually warming back to seasonal values in the middle 40s, possibly even the low 50s on Thursday.

Warming up next week but snow looks to return next weekend.

Don’t get used to the warmer and sunnier weather though, as there are signs that next weekend could be much colder and snowier as another storm system looks to impact Colorado. The Pinpoint Weather team will be watching this very closely.
