Shelter-in-place lifted at CU Boulder, now issued in Boulder neighborhood for armed arrest

DENVER (KDVR) — University of Colorado Boulder police secured Folsom Parking Garage after asking people in the area to shelter in place, but Boulder police have now issued a connected shelter-in-place alert.
Police said at about 2:40 p.m. on X there is a large police presence at the garage and the Champion Center. They had asked people to avoid the area. Just before 3:30 p.m., the shelter-in-place was lifted and the garage was secure.
Boulder police at 3:43 p.m. said they have activated SWAT in an area near Table Mesa Drive and South Broadway “to take an armed male into custody.”
Boulder police said it is connected to the incident on CU Boulder’s campus.
