
BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Cohoes man has been arrested after being accused of stealing from a Brunswick store 11 times since September.
New York State Police said James Frangipane was arrested after he tried to steal from the same store on Dec. 9. When confronted, he fled on foot with the reportedly stolen merchandise into traffic on Hoosick Street. He was later located and taken into custody on Lord Avenue.
The 37-year old was charged with 11 counts of petit larceny, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest. He also had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.
He was arraigned and sent to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail.
