CNN Accidentally Admits Preference for ‘Shadowy Influence’ Over ‘Open Participation in Democracy’
Elon Musk doesn’t need the flak he and his businesses are getting over his role in the Trump administration and the campaigning he’s done for Republicans. President Trump said as much during his joint address to Congress. Musk is the world’s richest man after all and has plenty on his plate. But he’s in Washington, D.C., digging up waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government, and Tesla especially is worse off for it. Why is Musk doing it? He strongly believes in returning power to the American people and transparency, and has clearly felt it important to be the one connecting with voters. Most people, one would think, would find the sacrifices he’s made for this country admirable, but not CNN.
As one X user noted, host Jake Tapper and contributor Kara Swisher unintentionally revealed their preference for “shadowy influence” from figures like George Soros over Musk’s “open participation in democracy” in a recent segment discussing his involvement in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race.
“You don’t see George Soros out there talking, right? I mean, they might be giving money to organizations,” Tapper said, “but the idea that like ‘oh, no, I am going to tell these voters—forget like hiring Scott Walker to do it…I’m going to tell them.'”
Swisher agreed, saying Musk “has to suck up all the oxygen.”
