The Liberal hold on Ottawa South since the 1980s is projected to continue.
CBC News projects David McGuinty has won the riding for the eighth time.
The usual independent boundary review sent the Billings Bridge and Mooney’s Bay areas to Ottawa Centre. To divide suburban and rural parts of the city, Findlay Creek moved here from Carleton.
Seven candidates ran in 2025.
McGuinty, brother of former Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty, is the incumbent public safety minister and previously worked with UNICEF across Africa.
