Graeme Danby and Valerie Reid who have both toured over the world opera singing are coming to the North East to celebrate our region’s culture.
Graeme Danby, born in Consett, is returning home to the North East to celebrate our music, traditional and more contemporary. Graeme and his wife, Valerie, will be accompanied by Andrew Richardson.
The music featured will include The Keel Row, Dance to your daddy and Sally Wheatly across to newer music from artists like Mark Knopfler and Sting.
The show explores the stories and lives behind the songs, using multimedia in the form of photos and videos to paint the picture for the audience.
Graeme Thompson and Tom Kelly have written and produced the show that Graeme and Valerie will perform.
The tour will span ten dates over April and May from Berwick down to Consett.
