Motorcyclist pronounced dead at the scene after crash in South Ayrshire

A 59-year-old man, who had been riding a KTM 1290 Superduke R20 was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed while emergency services were in attendance and re-opened around 12.15am on Saturday, 22 March, 2025.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances”.

“We are asking anyone who may have information to contact us.  If you were on this road around the time of the crash and saw the motorcyclist or if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please contact us.”
