British Transport Police officers were called to Millbrook Railway Station just after 6am on Monday, April 14.

The incident caused disruption on the line, with South Western Railway (SWR) estimating that disruption would last for around three hours — until 9am.

However, they later updated this to say that disruption was expected until 10am.

Speaking yesterday, a spokesperson for SWR said: “Following a trespasser on the railway at Millbrook Hants all lines have now reopened.”

The line was later reopened and services returned to running as normal.
