EL CAJON, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A one-year-old girl found unresponsive in a home in unincorporated El Cajon died Tuesday.
Around 11:30 a.m., deputies responded to a medical emergency at a home in the 1500 block of Penasco Drive, Lt. Juan Marquez with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
When authorities arrived on scene, they found the toddler on the living room floor. The child was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The circumstances of the death is under investigation.
