The aircraft was expected to touch down at Glasgow Airport shortly after 12am this morning (Monday).
However, according to easyJet, the flight was diverted to Birmingham Airport due to a ‘passenger requiring urgent medical assistance’.

The airline confirmed that the plane landed safely, with the passenger in question being met by medical crews.
Flight tracking data from FlightRadar shows that the aircraft then continued its journey to Glasgow Airport, where it landed at 3.06am.
An spokesperson for easyJet said: “We can confirm that flight EZY3172 from Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport to Glasgow on 29 June was required to divert to Birmingham due to a passenger requiring urgent medical assistance.
“The customer was met by medical services, and the flight continued to Glasgow later.
“The safety and well-being of our customers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.”
