JoJo Siwa is making a case for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, revealing that she wants to represent the UK in next year’s competition.
Last year, the former Dance Moms star suggested that “Eurovision is into” the idea of her representing Poland in the international music competition this year. Of course, Eurovision 2025 has since been and gone, and JoJo with the bow bow was nowhere to be seen, with Polish Eurovision bosses denying that any such conversations took place.
But the American reality star has more Eurovision dreams where that came from, after the “Karma” hitmaker told Capital Buzz that it would “be so fun” to represent the UK in the 2026 competition.
Siwa was asked by presenter Sam Prance about why she never ended up representing Poland at Eurovision last year, despite her track “Yesterday’s Tomorrow’s Today” previously going viral in the country.
She responded: “Never got the phone call, babes! F***ing hell they got me all excited and then never called me and honestly, I can’t blame them.”
Prance then asked what her Polish language skills are like, to which Siwa attempted to sing in Polish in response. “Horrible,” she admitted, adding: “Listen, maybe I’ll compete for England. Now wouldn’t that be a good time. Honestly, sign me up for Eurovision.”
Given Siwa’s success on the UK reality series Celebrity Big Brother, as well as the fact that there are currently no rules on nationality requirements for Eurovision contestants, as per the official website, it’s not a far-fetched dream for the singer to represent the UK.
PinkNews has contacted a representative of the Eurovision Song Contest for a comment on the matter.
Since her tenure on CBB, the singer has been an avid supporter of the country, previously sharing on TikTok that she “just wants to stay in the UK”.
