An eyewitness saw a stationary black car in the lane on A666/St Peter’s Way northbound at around 6.10pm this evening, Monday.
They said: “The incident seems to be on the Burnden Park slip road going northbound. It’s causing about a 15 minute delay to traffic.
“There seems to be several emergency vehicles there. It looks like they are backing up one lane. They seem to be near the Burnden Park entrance.”

Footage from the area shows two police cars and ambulance surrounding the car, which was in the left lane.
Traffic appeared to be moving freely by 7:15pm.
It is unclear of the nature of the incident yet or if anyone has been injured.
