More often than not members of the media will be last to leave a deserted GAA ground late on a Sunday evening. And at the mercy of caretakers jangling sets of keys.

Most are accommodating and patient. A few can be hungry and grumpy, indifferent to the pressing time needs of those still occupying areas at the back of the stand and consumed with thoughts and quotes and statistics.
