COBLESKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) – In Schoharie County, Cobleskill will hold its second annual Soup Stroll on March 8. It returns this year following last year’s success.
“At 3:31 last year, the president of Cobleskill Partnership, Lucas Fiedler and I looked at each other and we said we got to do this again. So, we started planning for it, the minute after it was finalized last year,” Bruce Tryon, from Cobleskill Partnership, Inc.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. According to Tryon, eight restaurants are participating this year.
Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to benefit Marathon for a Better Life, an organization that provides financial help to Schoharie County residents battling cancer. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Cobleskill Partnership website. Attendees can also buy tickets the day of the event at the Cobleskill Partnership pop-up tent on Main Street.
