A captivating video circulating widely on social media has captured a bizarre light display in the night sky over Vancouver, Canada, igniting a flurry of speculation ranging from extraterrestrial visitors to more earthly explanations.
The footage, shared by an X user, has garnered close to five million views, showing a bright object emitting a continuous stream of various colourful lights while moving in a circular pattern, NDTV reported.
The user captioned the video, stating: “This strange light was recorded by witnesses in the United States and Canada. Witnesses report colorful UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) and other unexplained phenomena lighting up the sky.”
The enigmatic lights have fuelled an intense debate online. Scepticism regarding the authenticity and interpretation of the video is also prevalent among social media users.
One user, named Bill Mitchell, expressed his doubt, commenting: “Here’s my problem with this. Why would alien spaceships have lights on them, assuming they want to be here incognito? I’m sure they have the ability to see what’s around them without lights.”
“A deforming, gaudy, glowing UFO was spotted in Canada. Since many people do not believe in the existence of aliens, this is an appeal to the public that aliens are constantly monitoring the public,” wrote another user.
“With what drones are capable of doing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are just drones,” a third user commented.
