
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– Happy Thursday! Meteorologist Matt Mackie says temperatures are expected to be in the 80s and midday thunderstorms are expected throughout the Capital Region.

1. Fulton County Sheriff urges caution after fatal jet ski crash ahead of busy holiday weekend
Following the death of 21-year-old Grace Clark in a jet ski accident, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to put water safety first as the Fourth of July weekend draws tons of people to popular lakes such as the Great Sacandaga Lake.
2. Poll: Majority of New Yorkers opposed to federal spending bill | NEWS10 ABC
According to the Siena Research Institute, a majority of empire state voters do not think the Big Beautiful Bill will improve the life of most Americans.
3. Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in the Capital Region
Fourth of July is quickly approaching and there will be no shortage of celebrations throughout the Capital Region. Take a look below to find Independence Day fireworks displays in the area.
4. Suspected Hudson fatal overdoses and local help
The suspected overdoses happened in Columbia County. Two of which specifically in Hudson. “I think that it’s just an epidemic that we’re dealing with right now,” stated Mayor Johnson.
5. 129 rescued snakes in Queensbury ready for adoption
The SPCA of Upstate New York rescued 129 snakes in Queensbury back in April. The SPCA says that they were rescued from abusive conditions, but the snakes are now healthy and ready for adoption.
