According to India Today on Thursday, social media accounts of Pakistani stars Mawra Hocane, Ahad Raza Mir, and Saba Qamar were found inaccessible again to users in India.
Those trying to explore their Instagram and X accounts received the message: “Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content.”
However, the government officials also told to the media portal that Yesterday, the restoration of Pakistani stars account was unintentional.
“If you can see some accounts on X, YouTube, and Meta, they will be inaccessible in a few hours. Some technical glitch led to the unblocking. Rectified now,” the sources claimed.
A moment ago, it appeared that India was easing its digital restrictions on Pakistani celebrities and entertainment content.
Indian users had found Pakistani stars Yumna Zaidi, Dananeer Mobeen, Ahad Raza Mir, Azaan Sami Khan, Mawra Hocane, Ameer Gilani, and Danish Taimoor’s social media accounts accessible once again in the country.
Whereas another popular name, Hania Aamir, who is clasping hands with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh in Sardar Ji 3, were inaccessible in India.
Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan’s social media accounts are also restricted on Indian platforms.
